Dr. Campo's story

Twenty years of doing it right.

Dr. Campo became a dentist for one reason: to help people smile. That conviction — simple on its surface, profound in its clinical implications — led him toward the disciplines where dentistry most directly changes lives. Implants. Cosmetic dentistry. Sleep dentistry.

He earned his DDS at the LSU School of Dentistry and completed a general practice residency at the University of Mississippi in Jackson. From there he has pursued advanced training with quiet relentlessness — Diplomate status with the International Dental Implant Association, residency-level work with the Academy of Craniofacial Pain, digital implant planning, iTero 3D scanning, advanced laser training. Continuing education is not a box he ticks; it is the standard.

The practice opened on S. Carrollton Avenue in March 2004. Twenty years later, the address hasn't changed. Neither has the standard.

Outside the office, Dr. Campo is married to Sophia, the father of two, and most weekends will find him fishing the Gulf Coast.

“The technology has changed dramatically over twenty years. The commitment to doing it right hasn't.”

Catherine, RDH

Catherine RDH

Born and raised in New Orleans, Catherine graduated from the LSUHSC School of Dentistry's Program in Dental Hygiene in 1999 receiving two distinctive awards. After graduation, she continued her work with the local, state, and national dental hygiene associations and went on to join the Board of Trustees for the American Dental Hygienists' Association.

Throughout her work at ADHA, Catherine worked on numerous committees, published articles in national publications, gave presentations at meetings around the country and received several more honors and recognitions. Several years after her graduation, she accepted a Faculty position at LSU School of Dentistry coordinating a public health program throughout Louisiana.

She continues to work in private practice with the same passion and enthusiasm she had when she started her career — grateful to serve in the same office for over 26 years, seeing patients spanning three and four generations. Catherine and her husband, Andrew, have three children and can be spotted having fun in and around New Orleans.
