What to expect.

Considered. Unhurried. No surprises. The visit moves at your pace — and we explain everything before we begin.

A friendly conversation at the Campo Dentistry front desk

Your first visit

A real conversation. A thorough look. A written plan.

Your first visit starts with a conversation — about what's bothered you, what you've put off, what you'd like your smile to feel like. From there, a careful exam, digital imaging where it helps, and an iTero 3D scan if the plan calls for it.

You leave with a written treatment plan and the time to think about it. There's no pressure to commit in the chair.

A handshake greeting at the office reception

For the anxious patient

“Sometimes it's as simple as just listening.”

If you've been putting off dental care, you're not alone. We move at your pace, explain everything before we begin, and never rush. For patients who need more support, nitrous oxide and general anesthesia are both available — but they are not the first thing we reach for.

“Super friendly staff. Dr Jimmy was excellent; took his time to work with my anxiety from the noise from the drill. I got 2 crowns and he did a great job.”

— Juliette T.

In a patient's own words

“Dr. Campo has been my dentist for several years now. My confidence in him and his staff haven't waivered. He is very informative while explaining necessary treatment. As long as Dr. Campo is practicing, I will never need another dentist.”

— Jason L.

Common questions

Answers, plainly.

The questions patients ask most often. If yours isn't here, call the office or send us a note — we'll respond during business hours.

Do you accept insurance?

Treatment is planned around what is right for you — not around what a benefits table covers. We're happy to talk through your coverage and what it will and won't pay for, so you can make an informed decision. Call the office and our front desk will walk you through it.

What sedation options do you offer?

We offer nitrous oxide for routine work where it helps, and general anesthesia for more involved cases or for patients whose anxiety is significant. The approach is to start with conversation and patience — sedation is available, but it is not the first response.

Do you have Spanish-speaking staff?

Yes. Spanish-speaking staff are on the team and available to help with appointments, paperwork, and clinical conversations.

What are your hours?

Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm. We are closed Friday through Sunday.

What is NightLase?

NightLase is a non-invasive laser treatment that tightens tissue in the airway to reduce snoring and improve sleep quality. No appliance to wear at night. No surgery. No downtime. Few practices in New Orleans are trained to offer it.

How are implants planned?

Every placement begins with a digital treatment plan mapped to the exact position, angle, and depth of the implant — before the operatory. Dr. Campo is a Diplomate of the International Dental Implant Association; the workflow is built around that standard.

Ready when you are.
